Project Illawari is built through long-term, trust-based collaboration with organizations that support and facilitate Indigenous autonomy. Our partnerships are grounded in respect, consent, and shared commitment to indigenous land rights, cultural continuity, and community- led solutions.

Current Partner

CEDIA (Centro para el Desarrollo del Indígena Amazónico)
Peru

Project Illawari works in long-standing collaboration with CEDIA, a Peruvian nonprofit that supports Indigenous land rights, territorial governance, and community-led development across the Amazon.

Rooted in a decade of relationship-building, this partnership currently focuses on the development of educational content and learning resources while remaining connected to broader efforts supporting land stewardship, cultural continuity, environmental protection, and Indigenous self-determination.

CEDIA’s deep presence in the region helps ensure that educational and storytelling initiatives remain grounded in Indigenous priorities and lived realities.
